Jasmine hated living in the acoployse and it had nothing to do with the walkers that tried eating her, it had to do with eating since half the time she didn't. Today though was a great day because for half an hour Jasmine had been on the hunt and found two rats, squirrel and possum all living in a abandoned barn. It was even better luck since no walkers were in sight, or so she thought when she was about to leave it a hand grabbed her ankle and she peered down to see the half of body of a walker trying to pull itself to eat her.She reached into her bag and pulled out a dagger to find it empty and made a quick mental note to find more metal and forge weapons.
Jasmine quickly pulled her ankle away and used a arrow on the monster killing it instantly, and then rushed out making sure no other's were around. Searching the small town of Rovira, which she snorted at the name Jasmine found a school and thought perhaps there might some things useful even if it wasn't metal. Searching left and right she rushed over and opened the doors hoping and praying no more walkers were in there.

It had taken Paul a few days to get his energy back, but once he was on his feet he didn’t stop moving. The group had spread out, some searching the neighborhood to their north and some wandering the state park looking for anything close by. He had headed south across the interstate entering Oak Grove. He verged off into a small town called Rovira which was about a ten minute walk from the grove. The name of the town amused him for obvious reasons. The tiny town was little more than a few streets, an old school, a church and some houses that dated back to the 70s. You could literally walk right through it and not know. He didn’t think there was much to be found in such a place, but he lingered because it seemed to be free of walkers and the school looked promising. Abandoned places like it were rarely looted. At least that’s what he’d discovered early on. People assumed that because the building looked rundown that there was nothing inside of value. He’d found several guns, tents, canned foods and other useful items stowed away inside places no one would have ever thought to look. Paul made his way across the overgrown parking lot of the school, his eyes wide as he looked around at his surroundings. He couldn’t see any walkers so he approached the back of the school, tapping the window. He’d learned the trick from Daryl, one of the many tips he’d picked up from the hunter. He gave it a few minutes and when nothing came barging forward he stepped inside, his bowie knife gripped in his right hand. He hadn’t made it very far into the school when he heard the door he’d entered open again. He quickly ducked behind a wall, his mind reeling. It couldn’t be walkers. If they were using doors now he may as well toss in the towel. It was someone alive then… Steadying his breathing, he moved to step forward and knocked into a overturned flag pole. The sound of it rolling across the floor echoed like a bull horn. At least that’s how it sounded to him. Cursing under his breath, Paul did what he did best. He bluffed. “The janitor needs to clean this place up.” He joked loud enough for the person to hear. It was also loud enough that his voice echoed down the hall, making his location uncertain. He didn’t want to give away his position too quickly. Stepping over the pole he made his way back the way he came, circling through one of the offices. He spoke again, this time closer to the other person. “I’m alone. It seems you are too.” He could see the shadow of a woman standing just inside the door. He waited for her to respond, his guard up just in case she attacked. Tag: Jasmine Moonstar

As her eyes scanned the area Jasmine tried to imagine how this school must have looked back in the heyday, the walls adorned with schedules, after-school activities, clubs etc. There even appeared to be a trophy case in the right-hand corner, with some trophies still inside with names on them.
Rubbing the dust off she read over some of the names: James Park won for chess player of the month, Julia Gola won for spelling something or other Jasmine couldn't read because of rust, and right before she was gonna read some more she heard the sound of something rolling across the floor which made her hair stand up and her mind going into defense action.
Was she wrong? Had walkers been in here and she was stupid enough to allow her mind to go elsewhere? Right before Jasmine was about to make a break for it she heard a voice echo out about how a janitor really needed to clean this place up and then right after she hid behind a doorway she was spotted by another human, a male who stood there and spoke about her being alone.
"How do you know I'm alone?"
